BACK TO BACK Mid-America EMMY® win for Jennifer Plas.

Oct. 9, 2010, Jennifer Plas won another Mid-America Emmy® Award for her role as executive producer for her magazine show, The Power of KC. Last year, Jennifer won a 2009 Mid-America Emmy® Award for executive producing The Unreal Housewives of Kansas City (see below). These accolades prove Jennifer's serious approach to the television industry and her commitment to creating excellent work.

Jennifer Plas is a PROUD native of Kansas City, Missouri. She is a two time Emmy® award winning Executive Producer. Ms. Plas has also had a successful acting career in Kansas City for the past 12 years as well as in Los Angeles. Jennifer is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG).

Under her belt, she has numerous commercials, industrial films, indie films, webisodes and print work. Recently, she executive produced, wrote and starred in the comedy short, "The Playdate". Other short films she recently showed of her acting chops are Michelle Davidson's thriller, "Barren", Patrick Rea's comedy, "Get Off My Porch" and  his Emmy® nominated, "Now That You're Dead". Her feature films include Patrick Rea's "Empty Acre" and David Story's "Play On".

Ms. Plas was the face of Topeka's own 49 ABC where she promoted ABC's season line-ups, made public appearances and did all on-air endorsements.
During her time in LA, she was in association with Disney, E!, VH1, TLC and booked a recurring role on the highly praised comedy web series, "Motherhoodlum: The Series".

Jennifer has trained with Kansas City native, Dee Wallace Stone, LA's comedy troupe "The Groundlings" and Marki Costello, who is infamous for shaping hosting careers.
